They must work together to stop these villains, using Mega Man's weapons and Lan's support chips to overcome obstacles and defeat enemies.
The gameplay is divided into two parts. First, is an overworld map where you can move, interact with other characters, and enter battles. Second, is the battle mode, where you control Mega Man in real-time combat. In the overworld, you can explore the virtual world and interact with various computer systems and networks. You can purchase and upgrade chips, which are used to enhance Mega Man's abilities in battle mode.
In battle mode, players control Mega Man as he battles against enemies in a grid-based arena.
